Fees & opening hours

 

Mulberry Bush Day Nursery is open between the hours of 6.30am and 6.00pm.

 

All fees are charged per monthly in advance around the  first of the month, payable by bank transfer, tax free childcare scheme or cash.

 

Any fees outstanding after 2 weeks will be automatically subject to a 10% administration fee. Any fees still outstanding at the end of the month in which they are due will prevent your child from further attendance at the nursery until full payment is made. 

 

•  Daily Fees are;  £55.00  8.00am – 6.00pm  10 hours

•  Weekly Fees are;  £275  (5 days) 10 hours per day

•  Half days £38.00 ,5 hours per session (minimum 2 sessions)

•  Hourly £8.00 - places subject to availability

•  At least one month’s notice is required on withdrawing your child from the nursery

•  A charge will be made for the late collection of children

 

The Mulberry Bush Day Nursery reserves the right to terminate a booking without notice for non-payment of fees.

 

 

Early Education Funding

 

From the 1st September 2025 the government has increased the funding for all eligible children of working parents to 30 hours per week (term time) from the term after they turn 9 months until they start school. If eligible you may be able to stretch the hours over the year. 22 hours per week

2yr funding for non-working parents is also available subject to meeting the criteria.

If your child is 3 or 4 you can access the universal funding without making a application yourself.  Your approved childcare provider will handle this for you simply have to provide your child’s birth certificate.

 

Funding sessions may incur a charge for meals £1.00 Breakfast, £2.50 lunch, £1.50 tea which includes snacks morning and afternoon (fruit, rice cakes breadsticks etc).
