FEES
Daily Fees: £55.00. (10 hours)
Weekly Fees: £275 (5 days, 10 hours per day)
Half days: £38.00 (5 hours per session, minimum 2 sessions per week)
Hourly: £8.00. Places subject to availability.
All fees are charged monthly in advance on or around the first of the month, payable by bank transfer, tax free childcare scheme or cash.
Any fees outstanding after 2 weeks will be automatically subject to a 10% administration fee. Any fees still outstanding at the end of the month in which they are due will prevent your child from further attendance at the nursery until full payment is made.
Funded sessions may incur a charge for meals:
Breakfast: £1.00
Lunch: £2.50
Tea: £1.50
Morning and afternoon snacks are included in the fees (fruit, rice cakes breadsticks etc).
Meal charges are dependent upon the type of funding you receive for your child, this will be clarified when you visit.
OPENING HOURS
Mulberry Bush Day Nursery is open between the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm.
We close on all public holidays.
You may be charged for late collection of your child/children.
Early years funding
From 1st September 2025, the government will provide up to 30 hours per week (term time) of funded early education for eligible children of working parents. Funding is available from the term after your child turns 9 months until they start school.
Eligible families may also have the option to spread their funded hours over the full year. For children who do not qualify for the 30-hour scheme, 22 hours per week of funded early education is available. To check eligibility - visit www.beststartinlife.gov.uk.

If your child is 3 or 4, your approved childcare provider can apply for you, you simply need to provide your child’s birth certificate.
When you visit us, we will talk you through the funding process and help you to understand what funding you will be eligible for.
