The Intervention Room at Mulberry Bush Day Nursery
For specialist emotional and learning support
Exceptional learning support for your child
The Intervention Room is used to support children with specific Speech and Language goals. It provides a calm, focused space for small group work and 1-to-1 sessions, allowing children to develop communication skills at their own pace.
The room is designed for multi-agency working, welcoming professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists and specialists from the local council. This collaborative approach ensures children who are not yet meeting age-related expectations receive targeted, specialist support tailored to their individual needs.
Emotional regulation & wellbeing
The Intervention Room also offers a quiet, nurturing environment for children who may feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or in need of time to regulate their emotions.
This space allows children to step away from the busy nursery school environment, helping them to calm, reset, and feel supported before re-joining their peers. Staff use this time to support emotional development, self-regulation, and wellbeing in a positive way, ensuring every child feels safe, understood, and ready to learn.
Come and see for yourself how we nurture each child's emotional and educational development.
We are sure your child will flourish at our nursery school.
